April is Daffodil Month

Part of Ali Ghahary’s commitment as a physician is to provide ongoing care to patients, including those suffering from terminal illness’ such as cancer.

While the mortality rate is declining, there are still thousands of new cases of cancer being diagnosed each year in Canada.

Daffodil Month has been one of the Canadian Cancer Society’s longest-running campaigns in effort to raise awareness and help fund life-saving research, in addition to providing support services to patients living with cancer and their families.

To show your support to this campaign, you can purchase fresh daffodils at various retail locations across Canada. In British Columbia, Daffodil pins are also available for purchase by donation at any Starbucks, Pharmasave, Kin’s Farm’s Market, Buy-Low Foods and Nester’s Market.
