Graduating from the University of Alberta with his B.Sc and M.D., along with completion of a Family Medicine residency program at Montreal’s McGill University, Dr. Ali Ghahary first began practicing as a locum physician in 2006 for the Northern Medical Services in rural areas across the Province of Saskatchewan.
Relocating to British Columbia in 2009, Dr. Ghahary became a member of the British Columbia College of Family Physicians. Thereafter, he held full associate privileges at Chilliwack General Hospital and Lions Gate Hospital, where he would often work overnight shifts. He also helped lead a full family practice at Port Moody’s Newport Medical Clinic, as well as provided care for elderly patients Vancouver’s Louis Brier Home and Hospital.
In 2011, Dr. Ali Ghahary joined Brentwood Medical Clinic – a full-scale walk-in and family practice located in North Burnaby, British Columbia.
Esteemed amongst his fellow physicians and patients, Dr. Ali Ghahary has become one of the top-ranked physicians in Vancouver today – due in part to his intelligent, empathetic, compassionate and altruistic nature.
In his spare time, Dr. Ghahary enjoys keeping fit, music production, and travel.
